The Chalk Arc partnership is an established programme focussed on securing green space in and around the housing growth scheduled for Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Leighton-Linslade by 2021. In all some 27,300 new homes are planned. A range of projects have been carried out creating and enhancing green spaces for communities and the environment. The Chalk Arc initiative is a project set up by the Bedfordshire and Luton Green Infrastructure Consortium.
